Aim

The Graduate Diploma in Science and Engineering prepares you for a postgraduate taught masters degree within the Faculties of Pure Science or Engineering at the University of Sheffield. The programme is academically challenging and builds on your prior studies and experience. The course provides integrated academic studies in science or engineering, advanced level English language, and comprehensive study skills.

Assessment

Students are assessed through a combination of assignments, periodic tests and end-of-module examinations. Full-time attendance is an important part of the assessment.

The Diploma allows you to progress to a taught masters degree within the Faculties of Pure Science or Engineering.
