All the information you need to read before packing your suitcase and going to the airport is sent with your Certificate of Enrolment. Read it carefully, follow the instructions, and be one step ahead when you arrive!

Download the pre-arrival guide for information such as immigration advice, packing advice, passing through the airport, accommodation, airport transfer dates and induction and registration programme.

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation – for FREE

Just fill in the online arrival form more than 7 days before your arrival at Manchester Airport on one of the free transfer days and we will quickly transport you straight to your accommodation in Sheffield with the minimum of stress.

We will give you a warm welcome at your accommodation

We will help you move into your room in university-standard accommodation quickly and efficiently. We can show you around your flat and we might even help carry your suitcase!

We will give you a thorough orientation to the College and the local area

Where is the best shop for ethnic food near your accommodation? How do you register with the local doctor and the police? We can help you with these questions, and more.

We will invite you to participate in a social programme during the term

There is more to life at college than just studying and books. We regularly organise trips to nearby cities and places of interest such as

Alton Towers theme park
Old Trafford, the Manchester United football stadium

Closer to home, we can arrange a basic cookery class or film club, depending on your interests.
