I chose the University of Sheffield because of the very high rankings and its excellent reputation for Structural Engineering.
My favourite place on campus is the new Information Commons – a sort of library. My friends and I study there in the evenings for maybe three hours, four or five days each week. The Information Commons is silent so you can get a lot of work done and it is also open late.

Academic Entry Requirements
In general, entry to the Foundation Certificate requires you to have passed Grade 12 (or equivalent) and entry to the Graduate Diploma requires you to have an undergraduate degree, equivalent to a UK Ordinary degree.

English language Entry Requirements
The minimum English language requirements are IELTS 5.5* for a 2 term course or IELTS 5.0* for a 3 term course. Please note that if you would like to study Journalism the English language requirements are higher.
