Biography
I am currently on a two year secondment in a lecturer / practitioner role between the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust where I work as a Senior Nurse. I have worked at a Registered Mental Health Nurse since 1987 in a range of clinical, practice development and teaching roles. I also work a day a week with the South Yorkshire Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) in the Translating Knowledge to Action (TK2A) implementation theme.
Research Interests
My research interests are the care of people who have dementia and I am interested in research methods that enable people’s ‘voices to be heard’.
