Eastern Orthodox: Father Edwin Hunt

Fr. Edwin is an English priest of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople within the archdiocese of parishes of the Russian tradition in Western Europe. He serves the Divine Liturgy in the crypt of Sheffield Cathedral usually on the first Saturday of each month. Confessions may be heard before the Liturgy.

He is married with three daughters and three grandsons. He read Classics at Durham University, taught Latin and Greek at Westfield Campus, SHeffield, and English at Netherthorpe School in Staveley. He was chaplain for many years amongst people with learning disabilities. He plays the piano and pipe organ.

He lives in Chesterfield but can be contacted at any time in an emergency. Usually it is best to phone in order to find a mutually convenient time to meet at the Chaplaincy.
