Cliff Crellin came to Quakerism from the established church which he had joined while serving in the Navy. After a brief period in banking, his subsequent career was in education and youth work, and this led him to undertake a research degree in Educational Psychology drawing on his experience of teaching in an inner city school in Liverpool and eventually moving into teacher training. In retirement he has been involved in small educational and mediation projects for Quakers and for London University in Europe, Cyprus and India. He is currently a trustee and treasurer of CRESST, a charitable organisation which trains schoolchildren in Sheffield to act as mediators in conflict resolution.

Quaker meetings are held on Thursdays in termtime in the Quiet Room at the Chaplaincy Centre on 344 Glossop Road, between 1.15pm and 1.45pm. All are welcome.
