International Students

Visiting the University

If you are an international student, we appreciate that it may be difficult for you to visit the University in advance to determine your learning support needs; in which case, it will be helpful for you to provide as much information as possible before you arrive by contacting the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service.

Funding

Overseas students, including EU students are not eligible for Disabled Students´ Allowances (DSAs). However it is still important for you to make contact with the Disability and Dyslexia Support Service to discuss your support needs.

The University has established a fund for International and EU students to help to meet the related costs of studying with a disability. Most of the University facilities and provisions will be available to you, apart from those that are specifically for UK students only, e.g. Access to Learning Fund.
