2012 Student Funding Resources
NB: for the time being, this web page content is aimed at potential undergraduates only.
The Financial Support Team has created this webpage to host resources that clarify the key changes and messages surrounding Student Finance issues in 2012 and beyond. This page contains a range of material that has been created by ourselves and also other resources which we recommend. Please feel free to adapt, personalise and edit any of these tools to match your needs.
For our staff, these pages have been created because we cannot attend every open event or information session you may schedule with potential students. We hope that the information and resources on these pages will provide you with material you can use in our absence.
For our partners, you are more than welcome to use any of the resources that are housed here. If you would like any advice or to see how we may be able to assist in explaining the funding that is available, please contact us.
If you have any questions regarding the material or if you wish to suggest future resources that would be helpful to your role, please contact the Financial Support Team.

Guidance
| Student facing pages provided by the government (BIS), this is the official line on all student funding matters. This website provides a breakdown of statutory support available. It also contains a repayment calculator showing weekly repayments based on starting salary of various professions. This tool highlights ‘affordability’ better than a lot of other debt calculators and is the one we recommend. | |
|
This is an A4 checklist produced by Student Finance England. It provides a quick and easy reference sheet for students, showing key dates and when and how to apply for Student Finance. |
