Question: A student has come into the departmental office extremely upset and on the verge of tears - they say that everything is getting on top of them and they are finding it difficult to cope. How should I respond as departmental secretary?
Question: As a tutor I sometimes receive telephone calls from students´ parents. What is the University policy on responding to these enquiries and what should I bear in mind about confidentiality?
Question: I am very concerned about some comments made by one of my tutees when I met with her this afternoon. She seemed to be very distressed and disturbed and I think I need to take some action in response.
