International Relations Office

Our International Relations Office (IRO) has been established to provide support for the development and maintenance of international partnerships and relationships in order to advance the University’s international ambitions. Our key responsibilities are:

• The development of international collaborative provision and partnerships
• Support for international exchanges/mobility
• International business development

The Office supports the development of the University’s International Strategy and its roll-out to Faculties and departments. Specific activities undertaken by the Office include:

• Business development/liaison visits
• Market insight/intelligence to support international partnerships
• Maintenance of records of international relationships
• International briefings
• Support for outward and inward visits
• Management of the Erasmus and Study Abroad schemes
• Supporting the development of collaborative proposals through to approval
• Collaborative agreements
• International Faculty liaison
