Assessment/Examinations Processing

Several sections within Student Services are tasked with supporting aspects of the examinations/assessment process for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, as follows

Taught Programmes Office – Deals with matters concerned with examination/assessment results processing and confirmation, Faculty approval of the award of degree qualifications, maintenance of results on the student record, release of official statements of results to students, award of prizes, unsatisfactory student progress, academic appeals, verification of qualifications, CIS training for results processing etc.

Examinations Office – Deals with matters concerned with formal examination events (as opposed to examination results), e.g. examination papers, timetabling, invigilation, venues, special arrangements for disabled students, arranging examinations overseas etc.

Student Services Information Desk – Provides 'one-stop' information service for students via the web and at the SSiD office in the Students' Union. Provision of various pro-formas, e.g. forms for reporting examination timetable clashes and requests for religious observance, copies of transcripts of qualifications etc.
