A Central Point for General Information
The University of Sheffield Student Services Information Desk (SSiD) (known as SSiD) is an important point of contact before, during and after your time at the University. SSiD answers over 150,000 enquiries from past, present and future students each year.
SSiD's staff are trained to deal with a wide range of enquiries and the office is a key central point for general information on many University services.
We like to think of ourselves as a "one-stop" information service, which aims to answer the majority of student related enquiries from a single location. And if we can´t answer your question, we can direct you to someone who can.
What Services do we provide?
As well as information, SSiD offers administrative services including providing you with documentation to prove you are a student. Who are our customers and what do they think of us?
