Nursery and Childcare

The Nursery is a non-profit making establishment which was set up by the Union in 1976 to provide a subsidised facility for students, with places also being available for other parents on a commercial basis.

The Union Nursery offers full day care for the children of students of the University of Sheffield, aged 6 months to 5 years. Places are offered on a sessional basis, which can be any combination of mornings, afternoons or full days. Students' fees are subsidised according to family income.
