Other Support Available

The DDSS works in partnership with academic departments and other university services to support disabled students to access their studies.

We have a network of Disability Liaison Officers (DLOs) who are responsible for helping to ensure that disabled students are supported.

The University tries hard to ensure that exams and assessments are accessible for disabled and dyslexic students

The University strives to ensure that all aspects of learning and teaching are inclusive and accessible to all students

Social Services may be able to help with your everyday needs

Appropriate equipment and software can be identified and obtained during the assessment process

Some students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) are recommended study support tutorials
