The University of Sheffield
Higher Education Achievement Report

Latest News

From 2pm on Friday 5 July 2013, all undergraduates who started their studies at Sheffield in September 2012 will be able to see their HEAR for the first time.

  • To find out how to access your HEAR, click on the 'Accessing your HEAR' news article below.
  • If you think you should have a HEAR but you can't access one, email hear@sheffield.ac.uk.
N.B. If you arrived at Sheffield before September 2012, you will not have access to a HEAR. We are investigating how to make it possible to issue HEARs to students who started an undergraduate programme in 12-13 but arrived at Sheffield before this date. If you are in this situation, please email hear@sheffield.ac.uk and we will keep you updated on progress.
  • If you think something is wrong in your HEAR (e.g. something is missing or you have spotted a typographical error), go to the Where can I get help? page and click on the link to report an issue.
N.B. If you think an extra-curricular activity/award is missing, please check that you have completed the criteria for gaining HEAR recognition before you report an issue. The criteria for all activities are published in the online database of verifiable activities.

    Launch of the HEAR

If you are an undergraduate student and started your studies in September 2012, you will receive a new kind of degree transcript - the Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). This will include both academic and extra-curricular university achievements.

You will be able to see your HEAR grow on MUSE, as you progress through your course. This 'internal' HEAR will become available for the first time at the end of this academic session.
