Living away from your home country and being a part of an international student community can be exciting, and is full of opportunities to learn new things and meet new people. But it can also be challenging, and it's not always easy to know how to make the most of the international experience.
Global Campus is a series of events and information that will help you to settle into life in the UK and gain as much as possible from your experience at The University of Sheffield.

Finding Your FeetNew to Sheffield and finding things challenging? Finding Your Feet is a weekly event where you can meet other students in the same situation, and chat to each other and staff about what could help you settle in. |
Culture CompassA chance to have British culture explained, and to discuss how it's different to, or the same as, other cultures. A different theme will be discussed each week, helping international students to understand British culture, while British students can learn a bit more about other cultures (and their own!) |
One World CafeA weekly cafe where you can meet new people from around the world and practise your social English in a friendly setting. |
