Continuing Undergradute Students: Year End Resits
The Information on this page is for Tier 4 General Student visa-holders only. If you made an application for a new visa or visa extension on or after 31st March 2009, you have a Tier 4 General Student visa.
Your result is Fail
If you register externally for re-sits, UKBA visa regulations say that you cannot remain in the UK to wait for your re-sit examinations. You must leave the UK as soon as possible. If you have a Tier 4 student visa, the University will inform the UK Border Agency that you will be re-sitting and have been advised to leave the UK whilst waiting for the re-sit examinations. The UK Border Agency may contact you. In the University’s opinion it is acceptable to return up to one month before the first examination date.
If you register internally for modules in both the autumn and spring semester, immigration regulations allow you to stay in the UK.
Your result is Not Assessed

Your result is Fail, Not Permitted to Continue Without Review
If you do not respond as instructed in the information you received with your results, you will be deemed withdrawn and must leave the UK as soon as possible. If you have a Tier 4 visa, the University will inform the UK Border Agency if you are deemed withdrawn. The UK Border Agency may contact you.
