Using the Visa Extension Scheme

The student and adviser can spend time discussing the TIER 4 (G) form, making sure that the application is complete before sending it to the Home Office.

1. Go to SSiD (Student Services information Desk)

(the University's Student Services Information Desk in the Union Building) no less than 8 weeks before your Leave to Remain Expires. Important Note: If you need to extend your visa to complete your current course, you cannot do this more than 6 months before your current visa expires.

2. Ask SSiD staff for:

  1. A CAS number (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies)
