Books and Stationery

1. Do not purchase until you arrive.

2. Stationery is available cheaply in the Union Shop.

3. Sheffield´s good bookshops;
- the Blackwell´s Bookshop in Mappin Street
- Waterstone´s Bookshop in Orchard Square in the city centre

4. It is possible to buy standard texts and other teaching material from other students; look out for advertisements on your departmental noticeboard.

Post

a. The nearest Post Office is situated on West Street around the corner from the Engineering Faculty, with another in Broomhill.

b. Postage stamps for UK/EU are available from the Union Shop in the Union Building, all Post Offices and some shops. Other items for posting must be taken to the Post Office.
