Public Transport

Most of you will rely on public transport to travel. The City of Sheffield and surrounding district is well served by an extensive network of bus services and the Supertram.

Cycles

Most Halls and purpose-built self-catering units have secure cycle stores.

Cars

Most students do not need to bring a car to Sheffield/drive to and from University.

Driving Licences

In Sheffield most students do not own or run a car, but live within a twenty-minute walk of the campus.

Car Parking

Car parking on the central campus is by permit only; availability is severely limited.

National Travel

There are two ways of travelling nationally: by coach or rail.
