The University Drama Studio is a 200-seat theatre with rehearsal and pre-production facilities and is at the heart of the performing arts community for both the University and the local area. Sheffield University Theatre Company (suTCo), based in the Students' Union, stages 9 shows a year at the theatre and is responsible for undertaking every aspect of its productions.
