Sheffield Union´s Marketing Department employs students to work in many different areas of the Union. The work offered is flexible and student staff often work up to fifteen hours a week, allowing them to earn money around their University timetables. The vast and varied experience gained from working within the department can make an impressive addition to any CV.
Student Connection is the University of Sheffield Students´ Union´s very own advertising agency and is the only official link for external companies to reach Sheffield Students.
Advertising space is sold for the many Union publications. Student Connection also sources sponsorship deals for various campaigns not to mention organising the freshers and refreshes fairs.
There are many opportunities to get involved with Student Connection from writing articles in the student directory, to being part of the promotional team as well as selling space during the busiest periods of the academic year.
Whatever you are studying or academic year you are in, the opportunities are there to get involved in the media industry.
