Mature Students Committee
This committee ensures that mature students are not overlooked as a vital and important part of the university community. The committee organises a host of social events for mature students including lunch time get-togethers and evenings out. A selection of trips have also been organised for parent students and the Union hosted a Christmas Party for children of student parents which was a great success. The committee meets about once a month and discusses representational issues which affect mature students. Its really important that mature students views are represented in the union and to the University, it doesn't haven't to be a huge time commitment but is really worthwhile!
