Women's Committee
The Committee's aim is to act on behalf of the female students who elected them. Women´s Committee promotes awareness of issues that are important to female students and campaigns towards the pursuit of equality for women. The Committee meets weekly to discuss women's issues and to organise events, campaigns and fundraisers. In 2010/11 the group will be running campaigns to highlight equal pay, violence against women and women's safety, health awareness and raising money for women's charities.
