Registration for Continuing Students

Registration

The principal purpose of Registration is to confirm or amend the information already held on your personal academic University record and to ensure that you have selected your modules of study, and to ensure that arrangements are in place for payment of your fees. It is a University regulation that all students are required to register annually, prior to their start date.

Undergraduates

Undergraduate students who have received their exam results and have successfully completed the year will be able to access the on-line registration link via MUSE, you will receive guidance regarding re-registration with your exam results. You are required to complete Online Registration by Friday 16 September.

Postgraduates

Registration start date 1 August - 31 October Students will receive an email from Registry Services with details in July to register on-line. The on-line registration link should be accessed via MUSE. Students should register for each academic year of study, prior to their registration start date. Registration start dates 1 November - 31 July Students will receive registration information by email/letter approximately one month before you are due to re-register.

Late Registration Charge

A late registration charge will be levied to all continuing students who fail to register within 3 weeks of their registration start date. Students with good reason for non-registration are advised to appeal the charge via the Late Registration Charge Appeal form. This should be signed by the academic department. See download on right hand side for the appeal form.

Leave of Absence

Students returning from leave of absence will be contacted approximately one month before they are due to re-register. All module choice (where appropriate) should be approved prior to registration.
