Booking onto a Workshop with Skills for Life

Our booking process explained...

  1. Booking forms become available 3-4 weeks before the workshop is due to take place. You can download them from our workshops page or you can pick one up from the University Counselling Service (UCS).
  2. Completed forms need to be submitted to the UCS, 36 Wilkinson Street, S10 2GB. You can do this by post or in person.
  3. Places on workshops are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis, decided by the date and time we receive your completed booking form. If you are posting your form, the post mark will be used as the date of receipt.
  4. Where possible, someone from the SFL Team will contact you (usually by email) to confirm your booking within 10 working days of receiving your form. Please help us by ensuring that you complete your forms clearly, especially your contact details.
  5. If you have secured a place on a workshop, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your place. Once you have confirmed your place, a further email will then be sent to you with the full booking and venue details. However, if you do not confirm your place by the deadline given, you will lose your place on the workshop and it will be given to someone else.
  6. If the workshop is full, we will email you to let you know and we will place you on the waiting list.  In the event of a place becoming available it is likely that people on the waiting list could be contacted at very short notice.
