How2 Study Skills in Action is a 5 week programme of useful study techniques, tips and hints. Small informal sessions are open to students who need to learn strategies of organisation, plan essays, improve presentation of assignments, develop memory techniques, successful revision systems, etc.

I need help with maths and statistics

The Mathematics and Statistics Help (MASH) website provide mathematics and statistics support to help perform well on your course.

I need help dveloping my academic skills

TASH signposts students and staff to academic skills development resources within and beyond the University of Sheffield. This includes things such as being at University, everyday skills, writing skills, learning skills, communication skills, research skills, etc.

I need to improve my skills in finding an evaluating information

The Library is continually developing information skills tutorials, which aim to help you gain the information skills you need to complete your course successfully, and become an information literate Sheffield Graduate.

I need to improve my writing skills

The Writing Advisory Service (WAS) is a facility to help improve the writing skills of both home and international students.
