Coming Out

This is a very important and positive message and to enhance this supportive environment you may welcome help or advice on the process of 'coming out'. There are several sources of support that you can turn to.

The Student's Union has a LGBT committee of students, representing the rights and welfare of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans students.

The Counselling Service has information on sexuality and coming out as well as general help and advice.

When coming out leads to family support being restricted the University may be able to contribute towards living costs.

Financial Support

Independent advice from the Student Union on all issues is available.
