Health Services at the University

The university has its own health service (UHS) and counselling service (UCS).

The University Health Service (UHS) has a dedicated female and male sexual health clinic, although you can book appointments with any doctor or nurse to talk about sexual health, get free contraception, full STI screening including HIV tests and free treatment. All students can be registered with UHS.

The University Counselling Service offers individual counselling, drop in one-to-one sessions, group work and Skills for Life workshops.

You can get free condoms and lubricant from the Welfare Officer and Women´s Officer.

Sexplored is a regular drop in session for advice and free contraception
LGBT Lounge has information and advice about local services and support groups for LGBT students. You can also pick up free condoms, dental dams and lubricant.
