Staying Local

More and more students are making the decision to stay local and travel onto campus each day from their family home. Some students will commute to university by choice, others because of financial obligations or family responsibilities. Whatever the reason the University of Sheffield is committed to supporting you into University and throughout your studies. Coming to university is a really exciting time, but it can also be a bit daunting. Have a look on these pages to find out about the experiences of other local students and tips to help you make the most of your time here.
