The University Library
The University Library is based on eight sites covering different subjects. As soon as you can, pick up a Guide to Library Services (available at all sites, and handed out at the Freshers´ Fair). This provides more detail about each site, and includes information such as opening hours, where to go for help and advice, and resources and services available. The information can also be found on the web pages at http://www.shef.ac.uk/library/
The Information Commons is a state of the art building offering 24 hour study facilities for all of our students. Superb group facilities are also available in the Information Commons and helpful staff are always available to help you get to grips with what the Information Commons can offer you. Check out the webpages for more information www.sheffield.ac.uk/infocommons/students
