Awaiting Results

Once students have completed their coursework (usually late September of the following year), they are no longer considered to be fully registered.

Services to students who are awaiting results are not the same as the services available to those who are fully registered.

SSiD cannot provide you with any documents until results have been approved by the Faculty. Any results you may receive before this date, for example from your academic department, are provisional.

You also need to check your address through MyRecord on MUSE. Results will be sent to the home address on your record unless you state a correspondence address.

Results to UK addresses will be posted out first class but results to overseas addresses will be sent by Airmail, so postage times will vary depending on the country they are sent to.

Transcript of Qualifications

You will be sent an official statement of results once your degree has been awarded (usually early December). A Transcript of Qualifications cannot be issued before this time. Similarly, confirming letters, copies of degree certificates and letters for the Post-Study Work scheme cannot be issued until your degree has been awarded.

If you do not require an "official transcript" a Summary of Results can be provided, which also details modules studied and grades attained.
