UCard Use and Missue

All students must have a UCard.

You should carry it with you at all times

Your new Ucard has many uses:

• Access to the Students' Union building
• Access to other buildings (contact Estates department)
• Discounted prices Sport Sheffield
• Library borrowing card
• Pre-pay photocopying and printing card
• Proof of your identity for all University services
• Proof of your identity for examinations
• Proof of your identity when collecting cheques/payments.
• Self-Service Photocopying and Printing
• Students' Union membership card

UCard Misuse

Your UCard remains the property of the University and can be taken away from you if you misuse it in any way.

You should keep your UCard in a safe place and in good condition, as you may be charged £5.00 if you need a replacement.

It is a disciplinary offence if you:

• lend your UCard to anybody else
• use a UCard that does not belong to you
