University Christmas card released

The University’s Christmas e-card is available now for you to send to your colleagues, friends and family. The Christmas e-card features a selection of festive designs which reflect some of the University’s highlights from this year. It is produced to minimise the University’s impact on the environment during the festive season while at the same time helping a local Sheffield charity.

This year’s chosen charity is Chilypep, the children and young people’s empowerment project. Chilypep works with youngsters from some of Sheffield’s most disadvantaged areas and teaches them how to make a positive contribution to their communities and neighbourhoods. As a result of their work local children and young people are able to voice their ideas, views and opinions, and engage with decision makers to ensure their voices are heard and acted upon. To reduce our environmental impact during the festive season the University will not be offering printed Christmas cards to staff this year.
