What do you think of the Higher Education White Paper?

The University Executive Board (UEB) welcomes your thoughts on the Government’s recent Higher Education White Paper. Entitled ‘Students at the Heart of the System’, the paper sets out the Government’s proposals for changes to higher education in the light of the Comprehensive Spending Review and the Browne Review.

The University will be submitting a brief response to the White Paper consultation. If you have any comments that you would like to be considered as part of this response, please send these to sally.green@sheffield.ac.uk by Wednesday 24 August.

Alternatively you can submit a response to the consultation directly by emailing the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (HE.consultation@bis.gsi.gov.uk) or by visiting their website (http://discuss.bis.gov.uk/hereform/white-paper/). There you can also download a copy of the White Paper.
