Have you got what it takes to be a winner?
Sport Sheffield has launched its annual photography competition, searching for pictures that showcase the spirit of sport at our University.
It is looking for the best sport photographs that represent sport at Sheffield including, Community Sport, Recreation, Fitness and Wellbeing, Club Sport, Performance Sport and Varsity.
From close-ups to sweeping panoramic match views, we want to showcase the diversity of sport through photography that captures one or more of our five competition themes:
- ‘Inspire’
- ‘Teamwork’.
- ‘Excellence’
- ‘Our location’
- ‘Fun and Enjoyment’
Whether you’re a budding photographer, sports enthusiast or just someone who likes taking action snap shots, there are some great prizes to be won. The winner of each category will win a £50 Amazon voucher, while other outstanding entries will feature in the annual Sport at Sheffield e-book which celebrates what’s great about sport here at the University of Sheffield.
The competition is open to all staff, alumni and students.
The deadline for entries for entries is 11 May 2012.
To enter, please submit all competition entries to ayearinsport@sport-sheffield.com in jpeg, .bitmap, png, gif or tiff format. Along with your name, title of the picture (please include the name of the theme that you wish to enter the photo against), the date and event/venue the photo was taken. All photos submitted must by originals, taken by the entrant.
Maximum of 10 entries per person.
