Student Life

Sheffield is an exciting place to spend your study abroad period. It's big enough to have everything - clubs, café bars, shops, sports facilities, restaurants - but it's small enough to have the small town atmosphere.

Sheffield has been called "the biggest village in England".

Crime figures also show we're one of the safest.

The UK's top Students' Union

When you become a student you are automatically a member of the Union.

Sheffield Union is recognised as the best Students' Union in the UK.

The Union is run by students for students and is at the heart of student life.

As you'd expect, it provides a packed programme of gigs, clubs, films and much more. There are 165 different clubs and societies to get involved with, so you'll never be short of something to do.
