Swine Flu Advice
This page contains information about what the University is doing to respond to the swine flu situation, and provides you with pointers to health and travel advice.
Please regularly check this page as it will be updated with further information you may need as the situation changes.
The National Pandemic Flu helpline is now available: 0800 1 513 100 or 0800 1 513 200. If you think you have symptoms of swine flu ring this helpline number or access the website: https://www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk for information.
There is no need to contact your GP or NHS Direct unless:
- you have a serious underlying illness;
- you are pregnant;
- you have a sick child under one year old;
- your condition suddenly gets much worse;
- your condition is still getting worse after seven days (five for a child).
