All courses available at the Department for Lifelong Learning are listed on this page.
We offer four types of courses:
- Full-time Degrees with Foundation Year, which offer degrees with integrated foundation years, specifically designed for mature learners
- part-time Foundation Years, as an alternative route onto full- and part-time degree level study for mature students
- a Certificate in HE programme (equivalent to Level 1 of a Degree course), specially designed for mature students looking for a flexible part-time programme of study.
- a Working With Communities Foundation Degree programme, to develop students' understanding and skills for bringing about social change through working with people in the community

Other Part-time Degree Programmes
The University of Sheffield currently offers part-time degrees in:
BA Education, Culture and Childhood (with or without Foundation Year)
BMedSci Health and Human Sciences (with or without Foundation Year)
Other part-time degrees within Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences are expected to be available for 2015 entry.
