About the courseModules
Another 20 credits are taken from a range of options, including web page design, computer graphics, and programming. Module descriptions (PDF, 250KB) Entry requirementsGeneral TILL entry requirements Moving from certificate to degreeThe Certificate in IT is a programme of study and a qualification in its own right. However, on completing the Certificate you can, if you wish, progress onto Level 2 of the BSc (Hons) IT and Organisations (Combined Studies) degree. Normally, students who would like to transfer on to the degree at Level 2 need to apply to join the degree and have an interview with the course director. If you think that you might like to transfer onto the degree, then it is very important that you consult with your programme director at the end of your first year of study so that you can be advised as to which Level 1 modules you should take as a preparation for degree work at Level 2. Additionally, another 20 credits are taken from a wide range of options. These can be from within the subject area of IT, for instance web page design or computer graphics. They could also be from other programmes run by TILL, such as French, Local Studies, Music, or Archaeology. ContactDr Verity Brack |
What our students say"I am married, a mother to two teenage girls, work full-time, and will complete my second year as a part-time student this year.
