Certificate fees

A Certificate is awarded when a student has completed 120 credits on a designated programme and typically lasts 2–3 years.

How much will I pay?

The standard tuition fee is £3,375 per 60 credits; however the amount you pay depends on your circumstances: Students who want to apply for a tuition fee loan have to complete a minimum of 30 credits per year.

If your gross household income is less than £25,000 per year:

  • You will receive a fee waiver for the first 60 credits
  • You will then be required to pay £3,375 for the remaining 60 credits. You will be able to apply for a tuition fee to cover this cost.

If your gross household income is more than £25,000 per year, or if you have previously successfully completed a higher education qualification:

  • You will be required to pay £3,375 per 60 credits for both years of study (£1,125 per 20 credits if you complete the course over three years instead of two).
