Taster workshop
If you would like to get a feel for part-time study at the University of Sheffield, book on to one of our free two-day Summer Taster Workshop on:
Dates to 2013 will be available soon
Why attend a taster workshop?
Our very informal workshop taster workshops will give you a flavour of the unique and relaxed classroom environment you will experience as a part-time student.
You'll take a tour of the campus, hear what current students have to say and meet staff from various student support services. You'll also get a free lunch from the Students' Union.
Come to a taster workshop and you'll find out:
- what you can expect to get out of University study, how best to prepare and how to apply;
- what a University qualification can do for you;
- what support and resources are available to help you;
- what University study expects of you.
Whether you have a clear idea about starting study in September 2012, or are just considering higher education more generally, our taster workshop is an excellent opportunity to meet others in a similar situation, and to have your questions answered.
