Research and Teaching Excellence
We are a long-established and internationally renowned centre of excellence for the research and teaching of urban issues and town planning. The results of the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) recognise us as the top planning school in the UK. According to the independent assessment, our department has the highest proportion of world-class research activity in the country.
The Department was awarded 23 out of 24 in the latest Teaching Quality Assessment (TQA) carried out by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
