Being involved with TRP doesn't stop at graduation. There are many ways you can still be involved with us at TRP.

Support the career development of our current students - perhaps you can offer a work placement at the company you work for?

Provide a profile - alumni success stories help to inspire recent graduates and current students.

Help advise prospective students about studying at Sheffield. Your first-hand knowledge can provide a valuable and much appreciated insight into student life for someone who is considering studying at Sheffield.

Be a guest speaker at the department - would you like to visit us and inform our students of your journey after TRP?

Host a visit of our students to your place of work.

Host a seminar in partnership with us on cutting edge planning related topics. 
Work with us to arrange a student exchange programme.

50th Birthday!

In 2015 the Department will celebrate its 50th anniversary. With this achievement comes a wealth of expertise, experience and an outstanding reputation.

From its launch in 1965, the Department of Town and Regional Planning (TRP) has successfully grown into the UK's leading planning school and an internationally renowned centre for excellence.  Over the years we have provided thousands of graduates with the key skills and attributes that enable progression into a variety of exciting career paths.

What is your TRP story? What was it like when you attended TRP? What did it mean to you to be here? We want to find out what a difference TRP made and makes in people’s lives. We'd like you to send us your stories, memories and old photos from your time at TRP. Some of these stories may be used in our anniversary publicity materials, shared on our webpages or used in talks we give about the department.
