- The Value and Use of Planning Obligations in England 2007-08 (Communities and Local Government) (with Prof. Tony Crook and colleagues at the University of Sheffield, University of Cambridge and Curtin University of Technology)
- Wakefield Housing Impact Project (Wakefield and District Housing)
Specialist technical inputs to a team from Sheffield Hallam University for a four year longitudinal study of the impact of Decent Homes investment in Wakefield.

- The Views and Experiences of Private Sector Landlords in Scotland (Scottish Government) (with Prof.Tony Crook)
- Sub-regional Housing Market Areas in the North West (North West Regional Assembly) (with Nevin Leather Associates and Inner City Solutions) I am working with Peter Bibby and Paul Brindley to provide technical inputs to the definition of sub-regional HMAs in the North West.)
- Outcome Indicators for Spatial Planning in England (Royal Town Planning Institute/Department for Communities and Local Government). (with Craig Watkins and University of Manchester) A study of ways of measuring the outcomes of the planning system.
- Strategic Housing Market Assessments for Yorkshire & the Humber (Yorkshire & Humber Assembly)
Project to produce consistent and robust Strategic Housing Market Assessments for 17 housing market areas in Yorkshire and the Humber, in consortium with Ecotec Research & Consulting and Nevin Leather Associates. - National evaluation of Housing Market Renewal (DCLG)
Leading on market analysis and GIS inputs to the research consortium undertaking this large scale research project (Sheffield Hallam University, Salford University, Ecotec Research and Consulting, and the University of Birmingham). The project is evaluating the government's ongoing programme of Housing Market Renewal, and the contribution of the nine HMR Pathfinders towards ‘sustainable communities’ objectives - Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) housing needs in the North East (North East Assembly). Technical inputs and the production of GIS materials to a study of BME housing needs in the North East in collaboration with Harris Beider, University of Birmingham.
