Masters Level Study in Town and Regional Planning

Town and Regional Planning at the University of Sheffield is a world class centre for excellence in planning and property and one of the UK’s longest established planning schools. With over one hundred postgraduates, TRP has one of the largest clusters of graduate planning students in the UK.

MA in Town and Regional Planning

This MA builds on one of the primary research areas of the department and prepares graduates for a career in planning.

MA in International Development and Planning

Focusing on the challenges facing the Global South, this programme prepares graduates for a careers in an international planning context.

MA in Urban Design and Planning

This MA draws on the internationally-recognised strengths of planning, architecture, and real estate.  It is uniquely interdisciplinary in focus, opening up careers in managing, designing and planning of urban spaces.

The Department is also partner with the School of Architecture in the dual Master of Architecture course that is accredited by both the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
