Mature students
A mature applicant is someone who will be over 21 on entry to the University. We welcome applications from mature students and value the contribution they make to our academic community. We are committed to ensuring they have an equal opportunity of access to our courses. We do not set an upper age limit for entry to any of our courses.

Please remember to highlight in your personal statement that you are applying as a mature student. This will ensure that the Admissions Tutor considers your application appropriately.
Applicants with disabilities or dyslexia

If you have a disability, your application is assessed following standard procedures. Admissions Tutors look primarily at academic suitability. Your additional support requirements are dealt with separately.
If you are academically suitable and receive an offer, we will contact you to conduct an assessment of your needs to ensure that we can provide you with the appropriate support. Applicants with mobility difficulties should be aware that access to some departments and services is restricted but, wherever possible, we will make reasonable adaptations.
