Prospective Undergraduates

Advanced Diplomas

We welcome the development of new routes and qualifications leading to higher education. The Level 3 Advanced Diploma (from the suite of 14-19 Diplomas) meets the University's minimum entrance requirement, although each course has specific entry requirements.

All students are required to take specific Additional or Specialist Learning (ASL) components, typically in the form of a specified A level in order to demonstrate sufficient depth of study and/or subject related knowledge. For example, for entry to Engineering courses, we require Diploma students to demonstrate a high level of mathematical skills through, typically, a good grade in A level Maths.
