Years abroad

If you spend a year abroad as part of your course, the fee for that year will be £2,000.

Placement years

The current fee for a year on a paid work placement in the UK, if it doesn’t contribute credits to your final degree, is £1,100. That figure will have increased slightly by the time you go on your placement in your second or third year.

MChem in Chemistry with Study in Industry

The current fee for the work placement year of this course is £3,000. That figure will have increased slightly by the time you take up your placement.

Foundation years

The current fee for an engineering or medicine foundation year is £6,000. Those fees will increase slightly in 2013.

NHS-related courses

If you're studying medicine, dentistry, or some courses in human communication sciences and orthoptics, the funding arrangements will be different. At the time of writing, the government hasn't confirmed what the arrangements will be for 2013-14. As soon as they're announced we will publish them on this website.
