Part-time studentsLike full-time students, you can borrow the entire cost of your fees. Your repayments can start four and a half years after you start your course, whether you've completed the course or not, but only if you’re earning over £21,000 a year. Depending on your household income, you may also get a fee waiver, which means that for some years of your course you pay nothing. To find out what the fees are for your course, contact the department you want to study in. They will also be able to tell you if you qualify for a fee waiver. |

Living at homeIf you choose to stay at home during your studies, the amount you can borrow is reduced. The amount of grant you’re entitled to is not affected. Part-time workMany of our students work part time to help with living costs. Our Student Jobshop advertises all the latest vacancies and staff can offer professional advice. As well as the usual kinds of part-time work, the jobshop also has details of vacation work, internships and year- long placements. |
